There has been enough news this week, so this Friday is about getting down to the true essence of our beloved sea cow—chilling out, swimming slow, doing almost nothing. Let the sea grass come to you.
Manatee cams are great for this, but sometimes, if you've had a long enough week, you need guaranteed manatees. That's why today we have more than an hour of stitched together footage of manatees chilling in Blue Spring State Park in Florida. |
Of course, I share this with you while the DeSantis administration is planning to put golf courses and pickleball courts in Florida's state parks. The battle to stave that off is already happening, but nobody can be fighting 24/7. Not even you.
Manatees have always understood the importance of resting and recharging. Maybe we can all do a little bit of that this Friday.
