Google has enhanced Chrome with new features to help users organize tabs across desktop and mobile devices. Tab groups, already available for Android and desktop, are now rolling out on iOS, allowing custom-labeled groupings on iPhones and iPads for better organization. Synced tab groups enable users to access their grouped tabs across multiple devices, facilitating smoother transitions between phone and desktop activities. Google is also testing a feature that suggests previously opened websites across devices to reduce the need for bookmarks.
Canva Faces Backlash Over Price Hikes (1 minute read)

Rising prices for Canva Teams accounts, from $120 to $500 annually, have sparked customer frustration. The company cites new AI features and an expanded product experience as reasons for the price increase and has offered a 40% discount for 12 months. Despite this, Canva still faces backlash, as many question its claims of affordability.
YouTube Expands Thumbnail Editing Options for Shorts (5 minute read)

YouTube Shorts creators can now customize thumbnail frames post-upload with text, filters, and emojis. The option to upload custom thumbnails is not available yet. YouTube says that thumbnails are less critical for Shorts as they are primarily seen in the Shorts feed. However, Shorts can still be discovered through search, hashtags, and the creator's channel. YouTube is considering adding more functionality to Shorts thumbnails in the future, including the ability to upload fully custom thumbnails.
