This week we’re continuing our journey through Psyche’s wonderful archive, this time with a spotlight on Turning Points and Ideas.
We introduced Turning Points to Psyche earlier this year as part of our refresh. These are poetic first-person pieces by diverse writers sharing their transformative experiences, such as a war reporter reflecting on the shock of his own father’s death or a teenage fundamentalist on her journey out of the darkness into a more joyful world. These memoirs are complemented by stylish video documentaries of people’s lives and stories, carefully selected by our team.
Psyche Ideas are insights and provocations from multi-disciplinary experts, either in the form of short essays (such as a philosopher on unrequited love; a comedian on absurdism) or, since our refresh, in the form of thoughtfully curated videos, such as Carl Jung speaking about the future of humanity.
I hope you’ve enjoyed revisiting these archive pieces as much as we have. Next week, we’ll be back to our usual publishing rhythm with a range of exciting new content that will help you know your self and live well. Until then, happy reading and watching!
