This article, by chef and food writer Samin Nosrat (of Salt Fat Acid Heat fame), includes some recipes, which I’m excited to test at some point. But it’s really about creating community: Nosrat writes about how she and her friends started a weekly dinner ritual and how, years later, they’re keeping it going. It’s not, she emphasizes, a dinner party — at times, it can even mean simply ordering pizza, as long as it’s eaten together.
