Our 2025 Lil AVCX roster has been making puzzles at a frenetic pace, so we decided to give them a bit of a break. Starting today, and continuing for the rest of the month, our 2025 editors will each be contributing a crossword. We kick off "Editor October" with a smooth-sailing 10x10 puzzle from Sally Hoelscher titled "No Filter."
Sally says: "As someone who is not a particularly accomplished crossword solver, easy puzzles are my preference for solving. That's why I tend to construct easy-breezy puzzles that are (hopefully) fun and interesting. I believe solvers of all skill levels deserve good puzzles. Whatever your solving ability, I hope you enjoy this puzzle. And if you end up with 23-Across as an earworm ... I'm not really sorry!"
