Thomas Bartscherer on Arendt’s 1970 Chicago lectures
Chicagoans, join us this Thursday at the University of Chicago for an event practically tailor-made for Point readers: a talk by Thomas Bartscherer on Hannah Arendt’s 1970 series of public lectures at the University of Chicago.
Thomas Bartscherer is the Peter Sourian Senior Lecturer in the Humanities at Bard College, a senior fellow at the Hannah Arendt Center for Politics and Humanities, and the co-editor of the new critical edition of Hannah Arendt’s The Life of the Mind, among other publications. He’s also a friend of the magazine who played an advisory role in the development of our Program for Public Thinking.
