We just released a new plugin for Publii CMS – Reading Time. It automatically calculates and displays reading estimates on your posts and pages, helping visitors plan their time before diving into your content.
The plugin works during site generation. It scans your content, counts words, optionally factors in images and videos, then injects the reading time directly into your HTML. No JavaScript needed. No extra requests. Your pages load fast with reading time already included..
