NEXT WEEK: Abney Park's LIVE AND INTERACTIVE one line concert.

THE LIVE CONCERT THAT IS A GAME, YOU PLAY AT HOME. 
 
Ever since I was a child, I dreamed music. I dreamed songs. Sometimes my dreams inspired songs, but sometimes the whole song would appear fully formed in the dream.

So for this game, the band is going to be trapped in the realm of dreams. You’ll notice a map...a collection of 15 locations within this realm. Each of these locations is associated to a different dream, which is connected with a different Abney Park Song. 

You will navigate the band around this map, choosing which direction we go. You’ll do this as a group, discuss it and vote on which direction to move us. But don’t take too long, deciding! We have a long journey ahead of us, and only an hour and a half to get through it.

Once we’ve stepped onto a new location, look around at the setting, and see if you can guess what song this setting represents. Also, listen to the band banter at this point, and you’ll find clues in what they have to say.

Again, guess as a group, each posting your vote in the chat room. 

(There will be an Oracle in the chat room, who will watch what you’re discussing) When you’ve guessed what song it is, the band will perform that song for you.

If you haven't guessed correctly by the time the timer runs out, we will give you three multiple-choice options.

Abney Park fans with deep knowledge of our music and lore will definitely do well, but anyone can play along. I think even someone who’s never heard our music before, should eventually be able to make the correct guest.

And if you don’t feel like playing along, no problem, think of it like a game show, combined with a concert!

ABNEY PARK's "ESCAPE THE LAND OF NOD" is both a live concert, and an interactive game! 

This might be a first in the history of music. A live Interactive concert journey, where the fans control the show!  This is a live concert, AND a cooperative game fans play together, live, Saturday November the 29th at 6pm PST. 

Fans will chat with each other live, to navigate the band around the game map. Each square on the map is a new magical location the band will be teleported to (through the power of green screen technology!) 

At each location, the fans will need to guess the song that fits that setting to unlock Abney Park's live performance of that song.

Jody Ellen will be joining us again for this one. In addition to being a phenomenal singer, many don't know she's also an amazing actress. And since this interactive concert is also an adventure story, those acting chops might come in handy!

NOTE:  You don't have to play,if thats not your thing. Its still at its core a live concert. SO if you just want to sit back and enjoy the show, we'd love to have you!
