1GW data center: Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries will, together with partners, invest $11 billion by 2030 for developing a data center in southern India. The plan is for a 1-gigawatt campus of AI-native data centers in Visakhapatnam in the southern state of Andhra Pradesh.

Humanoid bubble: China’s top economic-planning agency expressed concern about a potential bubble of over-investment in humanoid robotics, in a rare official warning. The country has seen an explosion of startups working on the technology, with more than 150 makers of humanoids.

Nexperia problems persist: Nijmegen-based Nexperia penned an open letter to its Chinese subsidiary seeking cooperation on bringing production and deliveries back on track. The Chinese-owned Dutch company said its customers face imminent production halts without its essential chips.

Quantum Systems, a German drone maker backed by Peter Thiel, tripled its valuation to €3 billion ($3.5 billion) in a new funding round. The startup plans to increase production capacity of unmanned aerial systems with the new €180 million from investors including Balderton Capital.
