That’s a shame, because the world needs an independent press more than ever. Corporate media has fallen down on the job—laundering opposition research for party power brokers and printing press releases for genocidaires—and Donald Trump is going scorched earth on his critics, slapping the label “terrorist” on anyone he considers exceedingly anti-capitalist or too “extreme” on matters of race, gender, and migration.
