Beekeeper Studio 5.5 is here! 🥳

With new Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs), a customizable formatter, and manual commit mode, version 5.5 adds tools that help you understand your data faster and manage your queries with more precision.

Update in-app or download the new version.

Thanks to everyone who tried out this version in beta — your feedback was invaluable.

🔍 Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs)

Schemas get harder to reason about as they grow. ERDs give you an instant, auto-generated map of your tables and relationships. Right-click a table in the sidebar, select View ERD, and explore the structure visually.

More from Beekeeper Studio 5.5

Redis support received a substantial improvement in this release, led by community contributor Andrew Pavlov (@mrsimb). With node-redis, RESP3 support, improved autocomplete, and better formatting, Redis workflows are much smoother now.

We also shipped a wide range of fixes and smaller enhancements across the app — UI polish, plugin updates, and general quality-of-life improvements.
