A new year is here, and with it comes a whole lineup of fresh sapphic romances we can’t wait to share with you.
You may have noticed that we published fewer books in 2025 than in previous years. That was intentional: we spent the year working behind the scenes to make Ylva even better for you—and for the years ahead. One of the biggest upgrades? We switched to a new distributor that lets us publish our books in Kindle Unlimited and on all other platforms at the same time. So if you like buying your e-books somewhere other than Amazon, you’ll no longer have to wait months to get the newest Ylva releases.
We also know things can feel a bit tight sometimes, so we wanted to make it a little easier to treat yourself. For most new releases, the e-book will be a little cheaper during the one week it’s exclusively available in the Ylva Shop.
And here’s something we care about a lot: when you buy an e-book outside of Amazon—especially directly from the Ylva Shop—it’s truly yours to keep. Amazon purchases work a little differently, since they’re tied to an account and access is licensed rather than owned. We want you to have real options, and we’re proud to make that possible.
This year, we’re planning to bring you at least twenty new books, including romances, fantasy, mystery, and more. It has never been our goal to publish as many books as possible—our focus has always been on publishing quality stories. And that’s exactly what we’re excited to bring you in 2026, too.
