The WIRED Gear team spent most of this week on the ground in Las Vegas, Nevada, to report on all of the latest news from CES, the biggest show in consumer tech. Our coverage ranged from hands-on reports, photos, and videos, to reported trend stories about consumer technology and all of its sensor-packed, chatbot-infused, AI-empowered glory.
Some of the biggest innovations we saw this year were advances in health sensors (like hormone trackers and blood glucose monitors), new software for self-driving vehicles, better options for batteries and wireless charging in mobile devices, and new designs for televisions that work better in smaller living spaces like city apartments. And of course, the flashy stuff from years past is still making waves in 2026, like rolling and folding screens in phones, laptops, and televisions, as well as chatbot capabilities being added to more and more personal tech.
Below are some highlights from WIRED’s week at CES 2026. And remember, if you would like to read more coverage like this from WIRED, sign up to receive our Gear newsletters here.
