Hey gang. This is a short email-only announcement to all of you wonderful subscribers. As you may know if you have been following along, I'm working on a second book of essays to come out around (roughly) June. These essays were all first published in The Reframe from Jan 2023 through June 2025. I invited paying subscribers to vote on which essays to include, and they did, too, so how do you like that? Full contents list below. Keep reading and you'll be there before you know it. Every book needs a title. This book will cover a period of time where we could all see a second Trump term looming, and carrying into the early dark days of the first year of that second administration, so I went with the title I find most emblematic of that time. The title will be Fighting in the Dark. There'll be a cover soon, so if you are a fan of covers, look out for that. Also: this book's upcoming publication triggers a change in policy for new Founding Member sign-ups. What is a Founding Member? It's a level of support for my work that comes with a free book, as a thank you for making the books possible in. Up until now, any new Founding Member would get their choice of one of my other books, with signature and custom inscription, and the new book when it came out. Two books! What a deal.
