If you’re in New York next next week, come to Hate Read Live! at the Georgia Room on April 23, where a slate of Hate Read writers will read what they’ve been posting, and we can discuss it all in person, the way god intended all along. On the menu: Haterade, Gin & Toxic, and maybe even a Long Island Iced Deez? I know last year’s party sold out in 2 seconds because we pulled it together in a little bar in like 5 days lol, but this time, we had some actual lead time and put together a properly big party. It’s $12 to attend (or $14.64 in eventbrite bamboozlement), which means that we can pay our readers/photographer/maybe a DJ, enjoy the gorgeous Georgia Room space, and not have to put this invite behind a paywall or stick a Substack logo on everything.
