Recommended ReadingI stumbled across this month's recommended read in TK Maxx, of all places (for some reason, that's what T.J. Maxx is called in the UK), and I knew I couldn't leave the store without it. Feast While You Can by Mikaella Clements and Onjuli Datta is a mix of lesbian romance, monster horror, southern European small town vibes, and SO MUCH YEARNING. It had my heart racing the whole way through (from both the horror and the spice), and it's truly one of the most original books I've read in a long time. I haven't seen it talked about much, and it absolutely deserves WAY more hype. Definitely do not sleep on this one! |
