Happy Friday!
There will be a lot of protests happening tomorrow in the US. Miranda and I have our protest plan in place. We've even purchased a chair that's easy to carry in case my back pain becomes overwhelming, and I need to sit. I won't let this pain in my ass stop me from protesting. There's too much at stake. If you plan to protest tomorrow, please stay peaceful.

All of the letters for the author's first and last name are below, but we don't guarantee that the letters are in the correct part of the name or that the first and last names have the same number of letters as the scramble.

Remember, the answer will be revealed in Saturday's newsletter. Hint: the author is in today's post.

Queer Trivia
She was an Australian artist and teacher.
She was born in 1882 in Ballarat, in the Australian state of Victoria.
In 1910, she began a twelve-year relationship with a woman named Debbie. The two lived together until Debbie left her for another woman. Debbie died two years later, and she never entered another long-term relationship.
During World War II, in 1943, she worked at an internment camp near Tatura for Japanese residents of Australia. She was responsible for overseeing the compound designated for non-English speakers and also helped manage the camp's school.
Moshi Inagaki, who had introduced Japanese language instruction and had taught her during her university evening classes, was among the internees. Later, her wartime efforts came to the attention of the wife of a Japanese diplomat, who was impressed after researching her contributions. In 1980, Japanese minister Saburo Okita presented her with a certificate of appreciation.
In 1985, her sexuality received media attention, with the press referring to her as the "world's oldest lesbian" and noting that she had "come out." Her autobiography was published in 1987, though it made no mention of her romantic relationships.
At age 103, she joined MENSA, and two years later, at 105, she was appointed a roving ambassador for World Expo 88. That same year, she was awarded the Japanese Order of the Sacred Treasure. She passed away in 1989 (aged 106) in the Melbourne suburb of Heidelberg.
Do you know her name? The answer is at the bottom of the email.
