This is totally off topic, but can anyone help this young couple out?
This is a young couple of Abney Park fans who have been working and saving to get their first apartment, and were scammed in a "rent deposit" scam. Basically, they were asked to put down a deposit, but the guy collecting the deposit was not actually renting an apartment! It was all a scam, and the scammer is keeping the money.
This came out of the young couples savings to get their first apartment, so they're really screwed without it. (There's more info by clicking the link below.)
